Apply to the 2026 Conference Planning Committee

If you are interested in joining the 2026 Conference Planning Committee, the Board encourages you to submit your information through our intake form. Committee members help identify workshop topics, fun activities, and provide guidance to ensure that our event meets the needs of our members across Alberta. The deadline to complete the committee application is Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 12:00pm.

All applicants will be contacted - whether they do or do not make the committee. Members will be selected based on how closely their experience relates to planning needs for the 2026 event. The Committee will host its first meeting in August 2025.

Apply to the 2025-2026 AMCA Advocacy Committee

If you are interested in joining the 2025-2026 AMCA Advocacy Committee, the Board encourages you to submit your information through our intake form. The Board is looking for several members to assist with advocacy efforts and activities for the next year – such as reviewing and preparing positions on various legislative changes. The deadline to complete the committee application is Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 12:00pm.

All applicants will be contacted - whether they do or do not make the committee. Members will be selected based on how closely their experience relates to the needs of the Committee. Members will be considered from all sizes and composition of municipalities. The Committee will host its first meeting in August 2025.
