Emotional Intelligence Workshop Room: TBA EQ Your Way to Success Wendy C. Wilton, Wilton Consulting Inc. How do you “show up” in a room full of people? How do you “show up” in a one on one conversation when you are explaining what you do? How good are you at building meaningful relationships? Do you feel like you get done what you need to get done with and through people? Research tells us that one of the most effective ways to positively impact your career and life is to increase your emotional intelligence (EQ). Even more important that IQ, Emotional Intelligence is predictor of success. The more EQ you have, the more effective you will be as a leader, team member, professional and human being. Combined with the notion of “presence”, this workshop will explore EQ and what it can do for you. This interactive session will cover the following: Your “why” as Municipal Clerk How you show up and communicate your purpose Effective communication in the Municipal Clerk role Emotional Intelligence Basics and why EQ is important Strategies to increase your emotional intelligence About Wendy Wilton M.Ed, CEC Wendy Wilton is a training consultant and Certified Executive Coach at Wilton Consulting Inc. who specializes in leadership development.
